You never know what kind of weather to expect in March around here. But, Ben and Ella’s day dawned sunny and beautiful.
Ben and Ella met at their local county fair. Their appreciation for animals and farming was a common ground. After getting to know each other throughout high school, they were committed and began farming together. These two have spent the last four years farming together and going through life’s highs and some deep lows hand in hand. I was so honored to capture their wedding day. A start to the next chapter of their lives. Mr. and Mrs. Sherry.
Ella was so laid back. For her, it was more about celebrating their love and being with friends and family. Everything came together beautifully as you will see through their photos. Wildflower and Wren did such a perfect job on all the florals. Absolutely stunning. Ella’s dress from Brides n Bells sparkled and twirled. And Ben and Ella were so perfectly at home in each other’s arms. They shared laughter throughout the day, and tears during a few special moments.
They chose to keep the ceremony very intimate and small with only family and a few close friends. But, as cocktail hour began, everyone who knows and loves these two began to pour in the doors. There were folks from across the country who traveled in to celebrate with Ben and Ella and their families. Neighborhood farm families. Family friends from their childhood. And others that they’ve grown close with along the way.
Ben and Ella, I’m so excited to see what this new chapter of your life will bring. I already know some of the joy it will hold. Keep standing by each other through the good times and hard times. I wish you all the love and joy in the world, thank you for letting me be part of your day!!
