The sweetest couple, surrounded by so many friends, committing to forever together.
Zach and Rebekah met at Living Waters Bible Camp. They were summer staff together in 2019, and worked together several summers after that. So of course they both love working at camp. They’re program staff, doing all the outdoor activities and stuff. One of the projects they worked on together was building the outdoor chapel. Cut into the hillside, it became a special place to the both of them. When the project was just wrapping up, Zach got down on one kneel, took a ring off his carabiner clip, and asked sweet Rebekah to be his bride.
With the camp being such a huge part of their story, it was the natural choice for a wedding venue. The camp staff are like a second family to them, and everyone came together to pull this wedding off. From day-of coordinator, wedding planning and decorations, to serving food and blowing leaves. Zach’s Grandma and Aunt made the wedding cake, his Mom helped with the food. It was beautiful to watch everyone shower these two with love and blessings.
Zach stood at the bottom of the outdoor chapel and turned to see his bride in her gown for the very first time. That was their first look. Later, the ceremony had begun. Rebekah was coming down the aisle again, this time ready to say “I do”. Zach stepped forward, meeting her halfway and led her back to the front. Showing with this gesture that she no longer had to do life alone, now they were in it together. One team. United in the Lord.
Congratulations again you too. I wish you the best and can’t wait to see how the rest of your story is written.
