Billy and Kaitie’s Celebration in La Crosse

Back to Blog Home

Billy and Kaitie had a sweet and simple elopement three years ago, but now they were ready to celebrate in style with their friends and family. Their original wedding ceremony took place along the river which made Celebrations on the River the best choice to “get married” again. How special to say “I still do” with a beautiful river background again.

I love how Billy and Kaitie made this day their own. Their ceremony was filled with telling their story. From the officiants talking about how they met, to playing a game of ‘Who Knows Each Other The Best’ for their guests to enjoy. The ‘flower boys’ threw petals from a fanny pack and handed out mini beverages to guests to enjoy during the ceremony. Photos from their wedding day played on a slideshow behind the head table throughout the reception. I didn’t know them back then, but I think I can say with confidence that these two are more in love than ever.

It was a beautiful fall day. With leaves floating through the air as they drifted to the ground. Rain clouds gave us a bit of a scare, but the outdoor ceremony continued as planned and the weather played nice for us. Lights twinkled around the trees when everyone lined up outside for a fun sparkler photo. Kaitie and her dad set a new standard for fun father/daughter dances. Billy and Kaitie were so relaxed and fun. All of their vendors knocked it out of the park. From hair and makeup, to their dj, to Celebrations with Kayla managing all the details of their day. It was the perfect way to end my 2025 wedding season and I hope it was everything Billy and Kaitie imagined for the wedding of their dreams.

I was so honored to be part of your day, Billy and Kaitie. Wish you both the absolute best in your future together!!
