Jonathan and Blythe’s Wisconsin Winter Wedding

Back to Blog Home

The sweetest day. Jonathan and Blythe were truly brought together by the Lord. They grew up states away from one another. But, ended up meeting (and of course falling in love) here in Wisconsin. Between church services, Bible studies, and volleyball games, their hearts grew together. They have grown through long distance spells, but their favorite times are when they’re together. Whether its hiking, kayaking (specifically the Kickapoo River), being outside, playing games, doing projects together, eating good food, going to coffee shops or volleyball – they’re going to be having a good time. And now, they get to spend the rest of their lives on adventures together.

On their wedding day, Jonathan and Blythe waited to see each other until that moment during the ceremony. Blythe entered the room and every head turned. She walked down the aisle on her father’s arm. Veiled. Tears forming in Jonathan’s eyes. His bride. When they came together, Jonathan lifted Blythe’s veil and their eyes met. Promising each other forever.

Their wedding day was filled with winter elegance. Dusty blue dresses and white chiffon shawls for the girls. Evergreen branches and candles decorating the reception. Twinkling lights. Charcuterie and a coffee/hot cocoa bar for the guests to enjoy before the soup buffet. The church’s beautiful stained glass windows and cathedral.

It was beautiful to see the mutual respect Jonathan and Blythe held for one another. From the way the talked to each to the way they treated everyone around them. I am so honored to have captured this chapter of their lives and can’t wait to see how the rest of their story unfolds.
