What an amazing downtown engagement session. We had a beautiful evening and fit so much fun into their session. I got to meet their pup, Nico, who will only eat his Pearl’s ice cream if Gracie holds the dish for him. He was such a good boy and I think enjoyed his evening exploring downtown. (shoutout to Braden and Ellie for keeping an eye on him while we did photos!)
Cole and Gracie both went to school in La Crosse, so they are not strangers to Pearl’s ice cream. I love how we were able to add elements of their life together throughout the engagement session. From the pearls on her shoes and earrings to the places we went, each decision was intentional and thoughtful. Connected with either memories of the past, or with the wedding planned in the future.
When Gracie and I met for coffee early this year, we hit it off almost instantly. Sometimes you meet someone and it’s just like you’re picking up from where you never left off and you just know, this is going to be a great fit. I am so excited to continue to get to know these two as they plan their wedding day. Here’s to the future Mr. and Mrs. Crubel! 🥂
