It was such a sweet time with Kyle, Sarah and Nora at Second Nature at Reads Creek, between Readstown and Viroqua, Wisconsin. I have two nieces who were both born the same month as Nora. Which made it so fun to watch her little antics. “Hi tree! Pretty tree!” in her sweet little voice. She definitely stole the show. We kept Nora close by the whole time. She had a great time picking up little stones to examine. And we took advantage of her little distractions to snap photos of just the engaged couple. She was always just a step away.
These two are tying the knot in June. I am so glad it worked out to set up a quick session before their big day. I feel better prepared when I get a chance to know you ahead of time, and what better way to get to know you than a photoshoot 😉 It gives you a chance to experience my posing and instruction. And we can both discover what feels the most natural and fun.
I’ve taken photos at Second Nature several times. But. Never in the spring. The Blossoms. Oh my word, they stole my heart! There is just something about the fresh beauty of spring blossoms that does my heart good after the brown muddiness that Wisconsin spring brings. I also love the way they can be used for creative composition. Offering such soft, light framing. It makes the photo feel like you just caught them in a moment of togetherness.
Kyle and Sarah have such sweet, gentle vibe about them. I absolutely loved the way they responded to each other, and the love in their eyes when they looked at each other.
I am so excited and honored to capture your wedding day photos in just a few weeks. Wishing you both a lifetime of love!
