Turner and Erica had such a beautiful October wedding day. I am in love with the wedding colors these two chose. The blush against black was so elegant, classic, and timeless. They chose Celebrations on the River as their venue for the same reason. Everything about Celebrations was just right for their day. And their Courtyard Venue’s black accents paired perfectly with Turner and Erica’s wedding colors. And I couldn’t believe Erica arranged the flowers herself. They were beautiful also. Her dress was from Purple Door Bridal Boutique.
Turner and Erica chose not to see each other before the wedding. That moment at the aisle was the one the wanted to cherish forever. Before the ceremony, though, they created time to connect with one another. Holding hands around the door, and in the presence of Turner’s sister, Erica’s mom, Grandma Jean and others dear to them, Turner and Erica read their vows to each other. I do not think there was a dry eye in the room. These two have found in each other love and support for life. They have already come through some of life’s challenges. Together though, they’ve reached the other side stronger. Turner and Erica are truly each other’s best friend.
Turner’s mom spoke of the day these two met during the reception, “We were at a friend’s wedding and Turner was a groomsman. I saw the smile on his face and knew right then that he had met someone special.” And he sure had. With Turner as a groomsman and Erica a bridesmaid, of course they would rub shoulders and get to know each other a little bit. But who could have predicted that they would come away from that weekend having found the one they wanted to spend their life with.
Getting to know these two has been so fun. I can’t wait to watch the rest of their future unfold and am honored that I got to capture this part of it. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Turner and Erica Krachey!!
