Most couples don’t know where to start when choosing their wedding venue. That’s why I put together a list of my favorite wedding venues that you may not have heard of. Now you have a starting point if you want your wedding to be unique, romantic, and next level. This list isn’t extensive or overwhelming, but it might uncover a few places you’ve never heard of.
For a lovely unique wedding experience. The Bittersweet Greenhouse in in La Crosse, Wisconsin. They provide an “elegance meets authentic country” experience for you and your guests on your wedding day. It has that light and airy outdoor feel, without the stress or worry of weather interrupting your plans.
Of course, I’m a bit biased because this is where Evan and I said our vows. But, Gatherings on the Ridge is a white wedding barn in Eastman, Wisconsin. What makes this venue unique, is the beautiful outdoor ceremony options. Also, I’ve found no matter what time of day it is, there will be somewhere on this venue with a beautiful background and great lighting. Also, it’s conveniently located on a US Highway instead of down a bunch of backroads.
Two words. Air Chapel. Their stunning air chapel is a wedding dream: vows accompanied by the songbirds hidden in the lush greenery, a light breeze fluttering through the rows, with Winnebago Springs’ signature waterfall centered in the large arched window. The best part: no rain contingency plan necessary. Located in Caledonia, Minnesota.
Does you dream wedding occur in the beautiful rolling hills of Wisconsin, a patio with vintage lights & gas fire pits to watch the sunset over the valley, a sandy beach, soothing sound of a waterfall, and an apple orchard? Chapters on the Horizon is located in Viola, Wisconsin and has so many great photo ops and provides a great experience for everyone involved.
