From hardworking farm girl to beautiful bride, Rachel is gorgeous inside and out. It was so fun getting to know her joyous personality through the wedding process – from engagement photos to all the calls getting things perfect for her big day.
I loved every little detail they invested in. From the gorgeous florals and lanterns, to the metal plates that Andy created custom for their reception. Each member of the wedding party had their own custom name plate. The wedding ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Viroqua and then they went on to celebrate with a reception at Chapters on the Horizons in Viola, Wisconsin.
But, to me, the sweetest moment was soon after they said theirs vows. The Priest announced the new Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lenzmeier. Everyone cheered, filled with joy for this sweet couple ready to face life’s ups and downs with each other. They strolled back down the aisle, this time, instead of holding the arm of the man who raised her, Rachel was on the arm of the man she’ll spend the rest of her days with. Their faces were so incredibly happy, my heart could burst. But as the cheering continued when they reached the hall, they had just one moment before being mobbed by loving family and friends. This was their first moment together, unscripted, as husband and wife. Andy wrapped his arms around his bride, his wife. Embracing. Hugging. Holding on to one another as the stress of the day washed away and the joy of reality that They.Made.It. All the months and planning over, all the formalities complete. Breathing deep together. Ready to celebrate, but also ready for whatever the rest of the future will bring. If I could wish one thing for you Andy and Rachel – it’s that you remember the joy and love you felt in that moment for the rest of your days.
