Tim and Lynnae’s Wedding at The Barn on Heron Hill

Back to Blog Home

What a beautiful day. I’ve know Lynnae for quite a while and you couldn’t a find a sweeter, more hardworking woman. When she asked me to take her wedding photos, I was SO excited! Both to be part of her day, and knowing that she’d found the love of her life.

I love what she shared in her first email to me, “Here I am contacting you, hoping you are not already booked on our wedding day! As a little girl, I had a pretty good idea of what I hoped my future husband would be like….along the way growing up I lost hope of finding someone even remotely close to it. Little did I know what (more like **who**) the Lord had in store. In the spring of 2021, Tim and I started messaging back and forth, thinking we had some friends in common. Came to find out that we didn’t, but it was already too late. Messages turned into 4 hour long phone calls and next thing you know, I was heading to a farm near Delhi, Iowa. I had to. I had to meet this guy who could make me laugh like no one ever has. This guy who does a perfect Elmo voice impersonation. I arrived and there he was all in all his dirty farmer glory. There he was my absolute smoke-show blue-eyed husband. Best day ever! Did I mention I got to meet his mama that day too? When I met her I loved him even more! Now here we are 2 and a half years later. He moved up here to farm with me and We have a 4 legged Blue Heeler baby girl. Tim is spunky and sassy and keeps me on my toes! …So here we are, Mishaela! The Lord is so good and we would love for you to capture our special day!”

Emails like that make me heart sing! Hearing about their love story makes me so excited for their future together. And their wedding day did not disappoint. Tim and Lynnae put so much thought into the little details, making the day a perfect representation of their story. The cowtag table numbers. The custom hats and can-coozies. The cowgirl boots, sparkly dress, flowy sleeves. Their venue, The Barn on Heron Hill, was just right also. A barn, of course. But with twinkly lights, a white gazebo, perfect Victorian style house for getting ready in.

Tim and Lynnae, I hope you never stop being goofy together. Laugh together every day, keep putting each other first, and you’ll have so many years of love <3
