09.07.24. It was a beautiful day to get married. Mason and Ashlea’s wedding was filled with laughter and emotion. They put so much thought into the little details of their day, but when it came down to it, truly, they were just excited to get married. To be Mr. and Mrs. and forever committed.
With September comes fall weddings, and the terracotta dresses and accents brought fall to life. Paired with gold sandles and each dress unique, the bridesmaids were lovely. But Ashlea was gorgeous. I loved all detailing on her dress. Her long veil and the style of her hair. Makeup just right. The white heels. The bouquets were stunning as well.
Everyone involved in their day was so much fun. Just truly kind, good, down to earth people ready to join families and celebrate new beginnings. When the Bestman starts his speech with, “Webster’s dictionary defines wedding as ‘the fusing of two metals with a hot torch.’ Well, you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold medals.”, that’s when you know you’re in the right room with the right people. (and for those of you who don’t watch the office, this is a Michael Scott quote.) But more seriously, it was so clear that God brought these two together. From the mutual respect and abounding joy to the way I saw not only Mason and Ashlea, but also each of their parents, take care of each other in the little things. The meaningful glances, helping each other out, and having fun together.
