The perfect farm wedding vibe. Austin and Anabelle pulled together such a beautiful evening. My sister-in-law got married on my husband’s homefarm (where we live) so I know full-well how much goes into a day like this! It’s truly a family affair. From his family power-washing and cleaning the shop and grounds, to her family briging in the straw bales and setting up for the ceremony. And I know there was so much more both families did behind the scenes to bless the bride and groom and make it a great day for guests. From my perspective – it went perfectly. Now, I know I’m a lil biased with Anabelle being my cousin, but still.
Being Tennessee in August, they chose an evening wedding to avoid the full heat of the day. The sun was dipping down perfectly for their ceremony and God showed off with a beautiful sunset. After they said their vows, with a backdrop of the fall-colored corn, guests made their way to the decorated shop where a ginormous spread of charcuterie was laid. A nachos table, gluten-free table, and dessert table was also in the mix. Lemonade and sweet tea, with all sorts of delicious fruity add-ins. They danced, cut the cake, played the shoe game, and visited with their guests. The evening ended with a bubble send-off – complete with a semi truck for the getaway vehicle.
Austin and Anabelle met at church. They love quality time, eating together, just being together. They’ve prioritized God throughout their whole relationship. They are ready for life together.
I am so happy for the two of you and cannot wait to see what your future holds! Keep choosing each over everyone and everything else. Make time for late night conversations.
