Getting to know Kelsy over coffee dates leading up to her wedding was so fun. (Thanks Timber Lane Coffee for being the perfect setting!) When we first met up, we spent the whole hour chatting about just life in general most of the time and I know I could have stayed another hour if I didn’t have kids waiting to be picked up! Then there was the late night calls when she was home from work and I was driving home after photo sessions. And another coffee date closer to the wedding to go over final details and a schedule change after realizing it was going to be Applefest Weekend for the Gays Mills wedding. Any of you locals know, the small town of Gays Mills, Wisconsin gets pretty congested for a couple weeks out of the year. And Applefest weekend is definitely one of those weekends. But, as I got to know Kelsy, I couldn’t agree more with what her Father said during his speech. “Kelsy has the biggest heart.” She cares so much for other people. It’s evident not only in her healthcare career, but even in the smallest details of her wedding. She went above and beyond for her nephew, Grayson. Their wedding day was also his birthday. Kelsy made sure he felt special throughout the day, even planning a surprise birthday cake for the reception. She got him a whole “Ring Security” set too. And she took great care of the bridal party too. From personalized cups to custom sunglasses. Kelsy wanted everyone to have a good time and feel special.
From a sparkling gown to sparkly shoes, Kelsy was GLOWING. Her dress from the Bridal Boutique in Platteville was perfect. And Chase cleaned up pretty nice too – from hunting and fishing to a navy tie and suit. He and Kelsy make a great team.
Her cousin, Hannah, arranged all the flowers. Her sisters took care of decorating the reception at the Boscobel Banquet and Bowl. Her Grandma had a special charm for her bouquet. And I know her Mom played a huge role in the planning as well. I just love how everyone came together and made the day magical. Docs Ultimate Entertainment made sure everyone had a good time during the reception.
Chase and Kelsy, I wish you both the best in your life together! Marriage is the best.
