Jacob and Jadyn’s Fall Wedding in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin

Back to Blog Home

Jadyn and Jacob were so intentional about every aspect of their day. Prioritizing the things that were important to them, and going diy on other things to cut costs along the way.

Jacob and Jadyn recently purchased land near Ferryville, Wisconsin. It was the perfect place for their intimate wedding ceremony. They got ready at The Waterfront Hotel in Prairie du Chien, then everyone piled on the rented bus or their vehicle to get them hitched. Jacob arrived first, with Jadyn following in a separate car. On the land they bought together, planted grass seed together, hunted on together, and so much more, they added another memory. With the fall sun shining overhead. A breeze rustling through the fall-colored leaves. Evergreens lining the Wisconsin backroad. Jadyn came and tapped Jake on his shoulder for their first look. After soaking each other in for a few moments, they walked together to a patch of favorite birch trees. Standing here they privately read vows to one another. Full of promise. Emotion. Love. Another memory created together and forever etched in their brains and hearts.

Soon, family and close friends began to arrive. They gathered near the wood’s edge where chairs were arranged and flowers were strategically placed. Jacob and Jadyn became husband and wife.

After the ceremony, everyone headed back to the Waterfront for their reception. I was so honored to be a part of Jacob and Jadyn’s wedding day. Between the coffee dates, emails back and forth, and their engagement session, I really felt like I got to know these two and their love and respect for each was a beautiful thing to witness. Wish you both the best and I hope I’ll see you around!
