BREANNA: 2021 SENIOR
I love the downtown look and especially for senior pictures – it’s a great choice year round. After some downtown shots, we went to a local park to finish up her session.
JOHN & AIMEE'S WEDDING AT GATHERINGS ON THE RIDGE
John and Aimee’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing. From the gorgeous florals (looking at you Wildflowers Special Events), the way the blush and sage complimented each other, the men’s tan pants with suspenders, the bridesmaid’s
Hey! I'm mishaela
Photographer in Southwest Wisconsin. I love photographing weddings and capture couples, seniors, and family memories along the way. My photos are light, dreamy, and timeless.
What makes the best photo location? I think this will vary depending on your photographer. Take the same couple, same location, same time of day, but change the photographer? Your photos will be completely different! One of my favorite backgrounds for photos is so simple. A big open grassy field, and a gravel road. I […]
Damian and Leigh’s engagement session was absolutely perfect. We had the perfect summer evening. A soft breeze caught the natural wild grasses and flowers in La Crosse’s Blufflands just enough. The evening sun peeked through the tall pine trees. The clouds put on a show towards the end of our time. Leigh’s bow, nails, and […]
Molly and Cory. A sweet mixture of intimacy and sarcasm. Fun and love. High School sweethearts. I could tell just from that hour of hanging out together that these two are ready. They know each other so well. They’ve grown into adults together. And complete each other. They started dating when they were 15, Evan […]
What a beautiful wedding to end my 2023 Spring/Summer Wedding season. I’ve known Jedidiah and Emily since they were young and so seeing them fall in love, and getting to capture it on camera was so special. These two have been so intentional throughout their romance. Prioritizing spending time together. Praying together. Choosing to honor […]
These two wanted their wedding weekend to be filled with fun for everyone. And a roadtrip to the Wisconsin Peninsula was the perfect way to start it out. They started their weekend with a fishing charter trip onto the lake with their officiant and friends and family. They not only got to watch the sun rise, but also had great luck with their catch. Nathan and Bri’s family made sure I got to have a great weekend also.
The lake, the country vibe, the beautiful northern feel. The emotions. The surprise first look with Chase’s daughters. The touching first look with Danielle. The reception filled with their engagement photos. The way everyone treated us like we were part of the family. The soft, neutral colors. The song Chase (a musician) recorded for Danielle to walk down the aisle too. The fact that I got to spend the whole day with my sister as an assistant so I could take both photos and video. The laughter and fun from the whole bridal party. The way Danielle and Chase would be naturally holding hands throughout the day. How excited they were to finally be husband and wife. Gosh, I could just go on and on.
It was a hot day, and we got there just after 3pm which was probably one the hottest times of the day. But that didn’t stop the magic from happening! These two did absolutely great, and so did everyone in their wedding party. Even the little people smiled for a couple of shots!
Talking to Jordan and Madison about their wedding day has me already excited for next year! There will be no shortage of fun and laughter; of that I am sure. These two know how to have a good time. As Madison’s mom will say, “Eat, Drink and be Merry”. Or in this case, Married 😉
Kyle and Sarah have such sweet, gentle vibe about them. I absolutely loved the way they responded to each other, and the love in their eyes when they looked at each other.
I am so excited and honored to capture your wedding day photos in just a few weeks. Wishing you both a lifetime of love!
A few of the things Hannah loved about this location was the rustic feel of the church walls and the river/dam. I loved those things too, but also the way the light bounced off the bridge giving her face such a natural glow, and the abundance of different clean backgrounds all in the same general area, and just the quiet, quaint feeling of a small town. Her naturally curly hair
