Kyle and Sarah chose to have an intimate ceremony in Sarah’s home church, followed by a beautiful spread of desserts. They wanted their day to really reflect the love that they share and be centered around that. Since they enjoy spending time together playing games, they chose an hourglass for the sand ceremony.
I love how Sarah described their story when she first reached out to me about photographing their wedding day: “From the moment we started talking we felt a strong connection. By how easy it was to talk to each other and how well our personalities matched. We’ve only known each other for a year and two months. But that hasn’t stopped our hearts from falling more in love with each other. We are very excited to get married!! It already feels so natural to call him my husband and for him to call me his wife.”
After they spent some time visiting with their guest and enjoying the desserts and wedding cake, we headed to St. Feriole Island for their portraits. It was a hot day, and we got there just after 3pm which was probably one the hottest times of the day. But that didn’t stop the magic from happening! These two did absolutely great, and so did everyone in their wedding party. Even the little people smiled for a couple of shots!
Kyle and Sarah – it was an absolute honor getting to know you both and capturing the deep love you have for each other. I am so excited to stay connected, and continue to watch your love grow and blossom as the years go by. Nora is one lucky girl to have such wonderful parents. She was absolutely showed in love all day not only from you two, but her grandmas, grandpas, aunties, and great grandma as well.
