Samuel and Brooke’s Wedding at Celebrations on the River

Back to Blog Home

From the first time they met, at a game night in college, Samuel and Brooke clicked immediately. And since then, their love has only grown. Life has thrown hard things their way, but they didn’t back down. Instead, they leaned hard on each and came out stronger than ever.

Their wedding was full of family and friends. I loved seeing how their families mingled and enjoyed the day together so well. Their moms laughing together and asking for a photo of their matching shoes. Sam’s Grandpa stealing Brooke for a dance while Samuel danced with his Grandma. Brooke’s mom, standing by her dad’s side during his heartfelt speech. Their pastor was also a family friend. And, I loved how Samuel and Brooke stayed by each other’s side and enjoyed the day together as much as possible. It was such a relaxing, full day.

Samuel’s love was evident in the way he took care of Brooke. From helping her with her train, to pulling out her chair. It was so beautiful to see how he cherished her and protected her heart. And Brooke’s love was apparent as well. From the way she looked up at him throughout the day with a face full of love and admiration, to how she softly kept her hand on his back or arm as they walked from place to place. They are doing life together, and intential about considering each other and showing their love to each in a real, life-giving way.

Samuel and Brooke – I’m so honored to have walked by you in this joyful phase of life. Capturing your wedding day was so beautiful and fun. I wish you both the best!
