Jordan and Madison’s wedding was one in a million. They were both so laidback, ready for fun, and organized. Everything just flowed so smoothly. I loved the intentionality and thought these two put into their day.
Their ceremony was beautiful. One of Madison’s lifelong friends, Owen, was officiating. As a friend, he was able to add such a fun and personal touch. The music softly played as everyone rose. Turned. Holding their breathe in anticipation. Then, Madison’s voice was heard over the music. Her recorded vows spoke promises to Jordan. He looked up and saw his bride for the first time on their wedding day. Sunshine poured on their backs as Madison and her father came down the aisle. Time has passed, and now her dad has gone from driving her to sporting events to walking her down the aisle and giving her away. Instead of a Unity Candle, Jordan and Madison had custom shot glasses to drink from together.
After their ceremony, Jordan and Madison took some time to themselves for a completely private first dinner. So often, you hear couples say they hardly had time to take a breathe together and take everything in on their wedding day. So Jordan and Madison made sure they would have a few minutes to gather their thoughts and enjoy each other’s company. Then, while guests were waiting in line for their meal, Madison and Jordan took the opportunity to visit and greet each person.
Madison and Jordan were literally surrounded by friends and family all day. It is obvious that they have many, many people who care about them. For a lot of their guests, this wasn’t a local venue. But everyone seemed so happy to be there. To celebrate this important day with their friends. To stand by them. Have their backs. The wedding is over, but their marriage is just getting started. And, with that team of support behind them, I know they’ll have an incredible future.
