The lake, the country vibe, the beautiful northern feel. The emotions. The surprise first look with Chase’s daughters. The touching first look with Danielle. The reception filled with their engagement photos. The way everyone treated us like we were part of the family. The soft, neutral colors. The song Chase (a musician) recorded for Danielle to walk down the aisle too. The fact that I got to spend the whole day with my sister as an assistant so I could take both photos and video. The laughter and fun from the whole bridal party. The way Danielle and Chase would be naturally holding hands throughout the day. How excited they were to finally be husband and wife. Gosh, I could just go on and on.

It was a hot day, and we got there just after 3pm which was probably one the hottest times of the day. But that didn’t stop the magic from happening! These two did absolutely great, and so did everyone in their wedding party. Even the little people smiled for a couple of shots!

Talking to Jordan and Madison about their wedding day has me already excited for next year! There will be no shortage of fun and laughter; of that I am sure. These two know how to have a good time. As Madison’s mom will say, “Eat, Drink and be Merry”. Or in this case, Married 😉

Kyle and Sarah have such sweet, gentle vibe about them. I absolutely loved the way they responded to each other, and the love in their eyes when they looked at each other.

A few of the things Hannah loved about this location was the rustic feel of the church walls and the river/dam. I loved those things too, but also the way the light bounced off the bridge giving her face such a natural glow, and the abundance of different clean backgrounds all in the same general area, and just the quiet, quaint feeling of a small town. These two are so incredibly sweet. And, I got to take their engagement photos at my favorite little getaway in Crawford County Wisconsin. It’s just a perfect patch of open fields with no one watching.

Abbey told me one thing they’ve done since the beginning of their relationship is going on long drives together. Evan and I love road trips as well. Truly some of the best conversations can happen when you just get in the car and drive. No plan necessary. Just spending time together.

Alex and Mikayla picked the first day of October for their wedding. It was a beautiful day. Sunshine poured over the outdoor ceremony. The creamy tan suits perfectly complimented the bridesmaid’s hunter green dresses.

John and Aimee’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing. From the gorgeous florals (looking at you Wildflowers Special Events), the way the blush and sage complimented each other, the men’s tan pants with suspenders, the bridesmaid’s beautiful dresses – each a unique style, but the same lovely color of sea-foam green from Dream’s Bridal Boutique. Aimee’s eye for detail didn’t miss a thing when she coordinated their wedding day.
